Victoria Secret Very Sexy Him 2 Cologne

I was in a Victoria's Secret a few years back, and needed to look like I had a reason to be there. Actually, I was making a purchase for someone else, and the attractive sales lady talked me into sampling Very Sexy For Him 2. I liked the fragrance and purchased a bottle. I was still living outside Chicago at the time, so it has been at least four years ago. I believe I paid over twenty dollars for this fragrance at that time.

I tend to go for fragrances that have a clean smell to them. This fragrance has top notes of tangerine, pink lime and bergamot leaves. The middle notes are limewood, cinnamon bark and sage. The base consists of notes including vetiver and orange down. This combination emits a nice light citrus scent with a hint of spice. The spice is overshadowed with the clean lines of the citrus and limewood. The long lasting vetiver is related to lemon grass and is a common base note. This base note works well with the citrus elements.

The pleasant top notes in this fragrance disappear more quickly than my other high end fragrances. This is a disappointment, because the elements of this cologne are fresh and sensual. This fragrance would be excellent for evening events. However, the short life span of this fragrance means that you have to carry it with you if you want to continue smelling nice. Vetiver is normally a long lasting base note, but in this fragrance, most of the aroma fades quickly leaving you aromatically naked. I don't tote a "man-bag" around, so I'm just not inclined to bring toiletries with me when I go out. For that reason, I would be more inclined to go with a longer lasting fragrance. This scent reminds me a little bit of Nautica and somewhat resembles Perry Ellis Man.
